ancient turkish people

a vanished horde who made yoghurt first time, but -unfortunately- underestimated the expiry date and got poisoned by this food. (human history has still the capacity to intrigue us with new discoveries on how ancient hordes had been perished.)

white rabbit

A prominent character in Lewis Carroll's Alice In Wonderland.

    The story starts as such:

"Alice is bored of sitting on the riverbank with her sister, who is reading a book. Suddenly she sees a white rabbit run past wearing a coat and carrying a watch, lamenting running late. She follows it down a rabbit hole and falls very slowly down a tunnel lined with curious objects. She lands in a long hallway lined with locked doors. She finds a little key sitting on a glass table."

    An Alternative Start:

"Alice is bored of sitting on the riverbank with her sister, who is reading the Most Delicious Rabbit Recipes Book. Suddenly she sees a white rabbit run past wearing a coat and carrying a watch, lamenting running late. She hits the rabbit in the head and brings it to her sister to cook. -THE END."

    Rabbit Casserole

    50g Butter
    1 Rabbit, cut into portions
    2 Onions, peeled and chopped
    Salt
    Black pepper
    1 x 15ml stock or water
    3 x 15ml spoons tomato puree
    1 x 5ml spoon dried mixed herbs
    Freshly chopped parsley, to garnish

Melt the butter in a pan, add the rabbit and fry briskly until browned on all sides. Transfer to a casserole dish, put the onions on top and add salt and pepper to taste. Stir the flour into the pan and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in the stock, or water. Bring to the boil and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the tomato puree and mixed herbs, then pour over the rabbit in the casserole.

Cover and cook in a preheated moderate oven (180C / 350F or Gas Mark 4) for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until the rabbit is tender. Sprinkle with parsley just before serving.

wall street

This is an ancient Egyptian hieroglyph crypto which informs all investors that "if you try to walk in this street, you will eventually hit the wall".

It was symbolized as a jackal headed investor trying to hold Ankh but hit the wall and it takes place in a well-known holy scripture, starting with "in the name of Ra, the capitalism expands through inner contradictions"

    - It's a wall
    + No, it's a street
x No, it's the wall street!

judas iscariot

it was told that after informing on jesus he returns 30 silver coins given him for identifying jesus, to sanhedrin priests and hangs himself on a redbud which in turn be mentioned as judas tree. the story tells us that after his suicide, redbud gets ashamed of being chosen by such a traitor and the color of its leaves turns from white to reddish purple (royal purple so to say.)

if we think about judas as a metaphor, he is the cancer! it comes out of misled DNA helices which identify our existence for an inevitable demolishment through a greedy metastasis.

holydolly

when roslin institute's sciencists cloned the first sheep (namely dolly), not only vatican but also every single zealot all over the world objected this scientific leap as it was againts the will of god who has an ultimate and unquestionable monopoly of creation due to his (!) omnipotent and omnipresent supreme being. as the rhetoric of all religions based on the holy, this would be the total destruction of holy, and -therefore- of religious rhetoric.

nonetheless, dolly survived normally and cloning experiments continued.

and therefore, thy name * shall rise as an oxymoron in aeternum.

rhetoric

in its broadest sense, rhetoric means the formation of a discourse for every discipline regarding communicative actions for persuasion (and even manipulation). as an etymological remark, rhetoric is derived from greek eiro and has a very simple meaning: "I say". it is quite natural that ancient greece, as a practicer of city democracy, was the first place for taking rhetoric as as a component of persuasive techniques in arguments.

if we look for the components of rhetoric, we would see that it has its own three musketeers as ethos (moral aspect of the discourse and the competence of speaker), logos (rational side of discourse based on reasoning) and pathos (speaker's ability to grasp listeners' emotions). in fact, the characters of alexandre dumas' have some certain resemblance with the three components of rhetoric.

and there is only one more question is left: where d'Artagnan would fit in this schema?
