WORLDS MOST DANGEROUS DRUG "as reported by National Geographic" Crystal Meth or Methamphetamine (aka ICE ,Tik, Crank, Glass, Yaba, Speed, Go Fast) is an extremely dangerous drug that is now found in every city and town across the United States. It is the fastest growing drug on the planet and ranks among the most addictive drugs in the world along with Heroine. Crack is in the minor leagues compared to Meth. ICE (Methamphetamine) is a powerful and highly addictive stimulant that keeps people awake for days at a time. It violently attacks the arteries, kidneys, liver, skin tissue, teeth, brain, bone structure and breaks down the immune system in a very short time. Crystal Meth has become available in South Africa and other small african countries such as Botswana. It was invented by the Japanese and also manufactured by Hitler and his Nazi scientists. More recently it became popular in Thailand and then other parts of the world. It's thought to have made its first appearance in South Africa in Cape Town but has now spread all around the country. Due to its simple manufacturing process and easily attainable ingredients, its fast becoming a highly profitable option for dealers/manufacturers who are now aggressively marketing it.A batch of high grade (95-98% pure) Meth can be made at home with ease within a few hours. It is a very destructive drug that destroys lives sometimes in a matter of months, leaving people bankrupt, unemployed and often with criminal records. It ruins careers, families and upsets entire economic infrastructures. It is abused extensively in Asia but has now found its way into third world countries in Africa. With fragile economies, some African countries are not equipped to cope with such a devastating epidemic. Life expectancy among users is around 2-5yrs. Many users develop severe long term physcological problems such as paranoid schizophrenia, depression and severe anxiety. Other short term effects such as increased heart rate, insomnia and reduced immune efficiency, are also common among users. In animals, a single high dose of the drug has been shown to damage nerve terminals in the dopamine-containing regions of the brain. The large release of dopamine produced by methamphetamine is thought to contribute to the drug's toxic effects on nerve terminals in the brain. High doses can elevate body temperature to dangerous, sometimes lethal levels, as well as cause convulsions. With chronic use, tolerance for methamphetamine can develop. In an effort to intensify the desired effects, users may take higher doses of the drug, take it more frequently, or change their method of drug intake( Crystal Meth can be snorted, swallowed, smoked or injected). In some cases, abusers forego food and sleep while indulging in a form of binging known as a "run," injecting as much as a gram of the drug every 2 to 3 hours over several days until the user runs out of the drug or is too tired and mentally disorganized to continue. Chronic abuse can lead to phsychotic behavior, characterized by intense paranoia, visual and auditory hallucinations, and out-of-control rages that can be coupled with extremely violent behavior. There are several symptoms that occur when a chronic user stops taking the drug. These include depression, anxiety, fatigue, paranoia, aggression, and an intense craving for the drug. This drug can KILL YOU in one of several ways: Overdose- Hypothermia, Stroke, Heart Attack, Kidney or Liver failure. Suicide- Depression, Schizophrenia, Delusions. Accidental Death- Disorganised Mental State, Fatigue. STD- Transmission of sexually transmitted diseases through unprotected sex or sharing drug paraphenalia (needles). Active Crystal Meth Use Only Leaves You With 3 Choices - Jails, Institutions or Death. --- quote ---
